Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
• Install furniture fixtures such as cabinets, doors, shelving, and hardware on-site or in manufacturing settings
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and installation
• Perform quality inspections to verify that all assembled furniture meets safety and design specifications
• Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle large or bulky items during assembly or installation
• Conduct minor repairs or adjustments to furniture pieces as needed for optimal functionality
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience with furniture assembly or related carpentry work, including trim carpentry, framing, or cabinetry installation
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as CNC machines or rebar installation tools
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to furniture assembly
• Familiarity with construction estimating, remodeling processes, flooring installation, tile laying, and electrical experience is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work on construction sites safely
• Experience with restoration industry practices including mold remediation or water damage restoration is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fabrication and fixture installation tasks
