FURNITURE DELIVERY DRIVER (EXPERIENCED ONLY) - $18 HR

We are seeking an experienced Furniture Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload furniture using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Deliver furniture items directly to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service by assisting with placement and answering questions professionally.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity and reduce fuel consumption.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, heavy lifting of furniture pieces, and organizing stock for smooth dispatch.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatch teams to ensure seamless operations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within the furniture or moving industry.
• Strong background in customer service with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to load/unload heavy items safely using manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is essential.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including moving large items, forklift operation (certification preferred), and inventory management.
• Knowledge of route planning, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols related to commercial driving.
