Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• 8–9 hours per day
• 5–6 days per week
• Flexible schedule depending on project timelines

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the furniture design process from concept development to final production
• Manage and mentor a team of designers and design assistants
• Create innovative furniture designs aligned with brand identity and market trends
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and marketing teams
• Develop design concepts, sketches, 3D models, and prototypes
• Ensure designs meet functionality, quality, and cost requirements
• Oversee material selection, finishes, and product specifications
• Review and approve final designs and production samples
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines

Skills for This Role

• Strong furniture design and product development experience
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar)
• 3D modeling and visualization skills
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes
• Creative thinking and concept development abilities
• Leadership and team management skills
• Project management and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and quality standards
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of market trends and customer preferences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related field
• Proven experience in furniture design or product design leadership roles
• Strong portfolio showcasing furniture or product design projects
• Experience working with manufacturing and production teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
