Furniture Designer

About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and technically strong Furniture Designer who can design premium, elegant and highly functional furniture pieces. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing furniture concepts, material selection, detailing and coordination with manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualising new furniture designs as per latest trends, brand aesthetics, and client briefs
• 2D & 3D drawings for furniture pieces (Sofas / Chairs / Beds / Dining / Wardrobes / Consoles / Accent Furniture etc.)
• Material selection – fabrics / laminates / veneers / finishes / hardware
• Coordinating with in-house factory team / vendors for prototyping & final production
• Understanding ergonomics, strength, comfort, usability and durability requirements
• Design research, mood boards, colour palettes and furniture style explorations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Furniture Design / Interior Design / Product Design or relevant stream
• 1–2 years experience in furniture design (residential premium furniture preferred)
• Software proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp / 3DsMax, Photoshop, Keyshot or similar rendering software
• Strong understanding of joinery details, fabrication methods, upholstery and finishing techniques
• Good communication skills, strong aesthetic sense and trend awareness

Bonus Advantage (Good to Have):

• Experience in premium / customized high-end furniture
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes & factory execution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
