Furniture Designer/Draftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled Furniture Designer/Draftsman with strong experience in preparing detailed shop drawings for furniture manufacturing. This role focuses on technical execution rather than creative design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of furniture construction and previous experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Applicant should have mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to create detailed shop drawings.
• Should have a minimum of 2 Years experience in Furniture Production & Furniture Drawings.
• Create 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCADand other design software (e.g Sketchup, Solidworksetc. )
• Translate measurements, design inputs, and specifications into clear technical drawings
• Ensure all drawings include correct materials, hardware, joinery details, and construction methods
• Coordinate closely with production and factory teams to ensure drawings are feasible for manufacturing
• Should have the ability to prepare drawings of the finalised furniture items according to the furniture photographs and standard proportions.
• Update and revise drawings based on site conditions or production feedback
• Have strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.
• Should have a good portfolio of previous works to showcase.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in furniture drafting or technical furniture design (experience in a furniture manufacturing company is required)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp.
• Solid understanding of furniture construction, joinery, materials, and hardware.
• Ability to create precise and comprehensive technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work on-site at our office/factory full-time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
