Furniture & Fixture Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose:

To maintain, repair, and restore cinema furniture, seating, and fixtures to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable experience for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain cinema seats, recliners, cupholders, and armrests
• Perform upholstery repairs, tightening, replacement of seat covers and cushioning
• Repair and maintain doors, counters, cabinets, wall panels, and decorative fixtures
• Fix minor carpentry, joinery, and woodwork issues
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on all cinema fixtures
• Repair or replace damaged components (hinges, screws, brackets, fittings, locks, etc.)
• Coordinate with facility and maintenance teams for larger repairs
• Ensure all repair tools and materials are organized and properly maintained
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from cinema operations
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
• Maintain maintenance logs and report issues to the supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• in facility maintenance, carpentry, or repair work: 2 years (Preferred)
