Responsibilities

• Safely transport furniture items to designated locations, handling each piece with care to prevent damage.
• Read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to ensure accurate assembly and placement.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble furniture components according to specifications.
• Install furniture securely, making adjustments for stability and alignment to meet quality standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections post-installation to verify proper setup and address any issues promptly.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and installation details.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of packaging materials responsibly.

Skills

• Proven experience in furniture assembly or installation, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing devices such as an ohmmeter when needed.
• Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy furniture pieces, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot installation challenges efficiently.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to tool use and physical work environments.
