Interior/Exterior Design, Furniture and Accessories Sales - Part Time

Outdoor Living is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to work at our Kahului showroom. We are a specialist in outdoor furnishings and accessories, established on Maui in 1998.

Furniture sales as well as exterior/interior design knowledge is a plus. The ideal candidate must possess outstanding selling and customer service skills, be detail oriented and organized, exhibit entrepreneurial interest, creativity, and the ability to work independently and together in a team environment. Must be able to work Mondays. Retail sales experience is a plus.

Your working day experience will vary day to day from working closely with clients to find solutions to their Outdoor needs, using your own style and creative sense to stage and enhance the showroom, and finding innovative and productive ways to market your expertise more effectively.

• Furniture sales and/or exterior/interior design knowledge is a plus

• Basic math, email, and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience

Compensation

• Hourly plus commission
• Eligible for bi-annual bonuses and PTO

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting while working with screens
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to distinguish between colors
