A high end, national interior design and furniture retailer is recruiting for a Furniture Showroom Manager. This position provides business leadership in support of the Company’s strategic plans. Key responsibilities include leading, training, and motivating our exceptional team of designers and support staff, meeting showroom budgets by assisting with sales, introducing new and efficient ideas to maximize business growth, and leading our company’s culture of customer service.

- Sets aggressive goals to ensure achievement of customer satisfaction, High quality design services and sales, and is accountable for effectively managing all aspects of the showroom and its operations.
- Ensures all employees understand the goal of delivering high quality service while creating a world-class selling culture by conducting individual and team oriented sales training and coaching with direct reports on a regular basis.
- Communicates, monitors, and reinforces business goals and sets clear expectations for sales and service, and redirects employee’s when efforts may fall short.
- Analyzes, plans, and recommends sound showroom staffing plans and makes sound hiring recommendations.
- Understands and ensures the effective execution of Company operations through staff development and training.
- Models and reinforces Company’s values in interactions with employees, customers, and in the community and advocates the Open Door program by modeling behaviors of fairness, approachability and respect for others.
- Ensures Showrooms appearance, merchandizing and presentation are in grand opening condition on a daily basis.
- Effectively manages inventory turns, delivery, returns & allowances, and account receivables to meet budgeted objectives.
- Must have interior design experience along with a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
- Competency in utilizing data management and business software systems for achieving success.
- Prefer candidates with an undergraduate degree.
- Desire five years of experience in the furniture industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
