Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Furniture Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of furniture assembly, maintenance and management services in support of a government client.
Duties
- Conducts essential modular furniture activities, including but not limited to cleaning, gluing, clamping, and providing touch-up services for furniture.
- Ability to review blueprints and plans and capable of utilizing hand and power tools for assigned projects.
- Identify types of wood and materials, apply appropriate finishing techniques, and handle House properties with care.
- Safely lift to 75 lbs., troubleshoot operational problems, and make recommendations for review.
- Perform data entry, clerical tasks, and maintain records in accordance with established standards in automated system.
- Understand and apply workplace policies, practices, rules, and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED; trade-related training or two years of professional trade work experience.
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
