Furniture Stager

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stager to join our consignment team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about design and enjoy expressing their creativity through home decor.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange furniture, art, and home decor items to create appealing vignettes using consigned merchandise.
• Utilize design skills to enhance the presentation of various items within the consignment vignettes.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design is required.
• Ability to move and handle large furniture pieces safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.

Duties

• Arrange and position furniture, art and home decor
• Assist with preparing for arriving furniture items
• Collaborate closely with management to ensure accurate placement of items
• Maintain organization of furniture and home items ensuring they are accounted for and priced appropriately
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and can move large items safely
• Must be able to reach, grasp, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb ladders as needed
• Ability to stand, move, and walk for extended periods
• Make adjustments to room arrangements as furniture arrives to accommodate our ever changing merchandise

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and spatial arrangements
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Good physical stamina to lift, move, and position heavy or bulky items safely
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Prior experience in staging and furniture moving preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or store requirements

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
