Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash and perform cash handling duties with accuracy.
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to enhance store displays.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on leadership roles.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
