Salary: $18 per hour
GENERAL SUMMARY
The department is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented student to serve as an Administrative Assistant. This position provides essential support to our daily operations and offers a great opportunity to gain professional office experience.
Note: This position is funded through the Federal Work-Study program. Applicants must have a confirmed Federal Work-Study award in their current Financial Aid package to be eligible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Management: Assist the Director with assigned administrative tasks with assigned administrative tasks.

Data & Documentation: Assist with data entry, filing (digital), scanning, and photocopying documents.

Scheduling: Assist in scheduling meetings, managing calendar appointments for staff, or reserving conference rooms.

Office Upkeep: Monitor outreach supply inventory and submit requests for replenishment; ensure the office areas remain tidy.

Special Projects: Assist staff with event preparation, campus errands, and research tasks as needed.

Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and adhere to FERPA privacy standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a minimum of a 3.0 CGPA (must at least be in 2nd quarter to have CGPA)

Must have no history of academic or conduct issues on campus or in student housing
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

Soft Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Verbal and written fluency in English.

Excellent spelling and grammar.

Outstanding organizational and planning skills, customer service-oriented.

Great attention to detail, successfully perform under pressure/to deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Experience: Prior office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
SCHEDULE
Work shifts will be scheduled between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. We are committed to accommodating your academic schedule and exam periods.
