Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Game Design Trainer to educate and mentor learners in the principles and practices of game design. The trainer will deliver engaging training sessions that cover game mechanics, storytelling, level design, and player experience, preparing students for careers in the game development industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver game design training programs for beginners to advanced learners
• Teach core concepts such as game mechanics, gameplay systems, level design, storytelling, and UX
• Conduct hands-on workshops using game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar)
• Guide learners in designing and prototyping games
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, presentations, and practical assignments
• Review and assess learner projects and provide constructive feedback
• Mentor students on portfolio development and industry best practices
• Stay updated with game industry trends, tools, and technologies
• Collaborate with developers, artists, and curriculum teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Game Development, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field
• Strong understanding of game design theory and player psychology
• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or game prototyping tools
• Knowledge of game mechanics, balancing, progression systems, and monetization models
• Ability to document and communicate design ideas clearly
• Teaching, training, or mentoring experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience as a Game Designer
• Familiarity with game art and audio pipelines
• Experience with narrative design and world-building
• Experience teaching game jams, workshops, or bootcamps
• Portfolio of designed or published games
