Game Level Designer Intern

This is a four month long paid internship that is an opportunity to work on level design for VR projects.

In this role we are building and marketing new VR games. We are looking for those who are diligent and enjoy a collaborative work environment. Formal game design education is preferred.

Most important is the ability to work within a team in a creative manner. We want to talk to those who are passionate and interested in gaming!

Candidates must currently be enrolled in school or recently graduated.

This is a part time internship, and hours can fluctuate as needed. This internship is best designed to accommodate juniors, seniors or recent graduates who are looking for practical games industry experience.

Preferred Skill Sets:Entry level experience with game level design.

Entry level experience with marketing and project management

Entry level experience with gaming markets

Empathy and skill for understanding gamers and their communities

A heart for team culture and dynamicsNote - this project does include working on the new 3d generative AI art tools from meta platforms and their new horizon engine including AI driven NPC interaction.

The Virtual Athletics League (VAL) is an early stage venture capital backed startup with the same network of investors who backed Tesla, Hotmail, and Skype. We work directly with Meta. Previously we have worked with Nerf, The Walking Dead, Metro, Alien, Hello Neighbor, and many other high profile titles.
