JOB SUMMARY:

Under General Supervision assists in the receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise in warehouse. Stock and replenish game inventory from warehouse to midway games, Prize Center and merchandisers. Assist in conducting physical inventory. Fill in for Game Operator as needed. Incorporates excellent customer Guest service into daily activities.


UNIQUE JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Wear company issued uniforms. Shifts start as early as 6: 30 a.m. Can works up to 8 hours, 5 days per week, including weekends (summer schedule). May obtain certification to operate cart. Must be a minimum of 16 years old. Maintains a high level of productivity, effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.


JOB TASKS (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

Tracking & Monitoring:

  • Keep precise records of all incoming, outgoing, and stored inventory, assisting in conducting regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate databases for transfers, pricing, and inventory levels.

Stock Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure they meet supply and demand, initiating order requests when necessary.

Receiving & Inspection:

  • Assist in receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy against purchase orders.

Order Processing:

  • Process inventory orders, deliver, and fill midway games, prize center and merchandisers stock bins to ensuring timely and accurate distribution of goods.

Visual Display Execution:

  • Follow written and verbal communication to complete visual displays at midway games, prize center and merchandisers. Ensure games merchandise is displayed to standards.

Equipment Operation:

  • Safely operate electric-powered carts for transportation of goods and supplies.

Waste Management:

  • Remove trash and recyclables from all games locations to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Other Duties:

  • Follow verbal and written directions to perform specific duties.
  • Assist in station training of games employees as directed.
  • Perform additional task as required to support operations and team needs.

RELATIONSHIPS INTERNAL:

All levels of Santa Cruz Seaside Company employees.


RELATIONSHIPS EXTERNAL:

Minimum interaction with guests.


TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Some knowledge or experience in warehouse operation is helpful but not needed.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to obtain cart certification.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written.
  • Ability to know basic math.
  • Ability to perform Game Operator tasks.
  • Ability to provide consistent, friendly, and helpful service to employees and guests.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift 53 lbs. from ground to shoulder level.
  • Able to use step ladder, climb stairs, and carry large objects.
  • Able to move boxes which would include pushing, pulling, and stooping.
  • Able to stand for up to eight hours at a time.
  • Able to work in a noisy environment.
  • Able to see and hear normal conversations.

LICENSES AND INSURANCE:

Driver's License desired but not required unless trained for vehicle operations.
