Garage Door Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Garage Door Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related hardware with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards and customer expectations, contributing to the overall safety and functionality of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace garage doors, including tracks, springs, cables, openers, and hardware components using hand tools and power tools.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately assemble and position door systems.
• Use electrical experience to connect openers and troubleshoot electrical issues safely.
• Handle heavy lifting of doors and materials while adhering to safety protocols.
• Apply caulking, locksmithing skills, and metal framing techniques to ensure secure and professional installations.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and inspecting completed work for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects that involve door hanging or structural modifications.
• Read schematics and technical instructions accurately to ensure proper assembly and installation procedures are followed.

Experience

• At least 2 years experience as a garage door installer
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, as well as power tools necessary for heavy-duty installation work.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to garage doors including springs, cables, rollers, and openers.
• Electrical experience relevant to garage door openers or related wiring tasks is advantageous.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights on ladders or scaffolding. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
