We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garage Door Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of garage doors and related components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and have experience working with hand tools and power equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive high-quality service and products that meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain garage doors, openers, and related hardware.
• Utilize hand tools and power equipment to complete installations efficiently.
• Perform drywall work as needed during installation processes.
• Conduct frame carpentry tasks to ensure proper fitting of doors.
• Fabricate components as required for custom installations.
• Install glass panels in garage doors when applicable.
• Apply caulking to seal gaps and improve insulation.
• Handle fixture installation related to garage door systems.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites.

Experience

• Proven experience in garage door installation or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with drywall work, frame carpentry, and fixture installation is advantageous.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with electrical components related to garage door systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
