Garage Door Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various maintenance person tasks and possess a strong understanding of garage door installation, repair, and maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of garage doors to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including frame carpentry, caulking, and fixture installation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on garage door options.
• Perform metal stud framing and remodeling tasks as needed to enhance the functionality of garage door systems.
• Fabricate custom components when necessary to meet specific customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance person services or related fields, with a focus on garage door installation and repair preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with frame carpentry, caulking, welding, metal stud framing, cabinet installation, and fixture installation is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record may be required for travel to job sites.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
