Duties

• Assist with the preparation and cleaning of work areas to ensure safe and efficient installation processes
• Support the installation of garage flooring materials such as epoxy coatings, tiles, or concrete overlays following schematics and blueprints
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install flooring components with precision
• Help with surface preparation including grinding, sealing, caulking, and water damage restoration tasks
• Aid in measuring spaces accurately using tape measures and schematics to ensure proper fitment of flooring materials
• Collaborate with team members on fixture installation, trim carpentry, cabinet setup, and other remodeling tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols throughout each project

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or flooring installation is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and floor care techniques is a plus
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing, buffing equipment or remodeling projects will enhance your effectiveness in this role
• Knowledge of the restoration industry or water damage restoration processes is beneficial but not required
• Previous work on construction sites involving tile laying, caulking, fixture installation or carpentry will support your success here
• Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude will help you thrive in a collaborative team environment
