Garage Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Garage Manager to lead our automotive and equipment service operations. Responsibilities

• Manage daily garage operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
• Supervise and mentor technicians and mechanics, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, and automotive systems.
• Ensure proper use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools during repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Review schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures to troubleshoot issues related to transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, diesel engines, brakes, alignments, shocks & struts.
• Maintain accurate records of service work performed, parts used, inspections completed, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with clients or internal departments to schedule repairs and communicate project timelines effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dealership or heavy equipment service environments with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Extensive background in automotive diagnostics
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,000.00 per year
