Garbage Truck Driver

Indiana Waste Service is a family owned and operated garbage and recycling company.

We are seeking a driver who possess a valid Class B CDL or higher to operate a waste collection vehicle for a trash collection route, to empty trash containers from residential customers and commercial business.

Responsibilities and Duties

Safe operation of the vehicle, learn and travel established route, loading of residential garbage or recyclable materials, and transporting materials to the waste sorting facility.

-Must be able work outdoors, hot or cold, and rain or snow

-Pre-employment drug screening

-Clear driving record

-Dependable and on time, daily start time 5:00 am or earlier.

-Ability to learn route directions and service 300-500 plus customers per day

-Able to pick up 50 or more pounds repeatedly through the day

-Follow all safety and maintenance procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
