Garbage Truck Driver

Job Description

We are currently hiring a Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in Marshfield, Missouri. As a driver, you’ll be responsible for operating a commercial garbage truck on established routes to collect waste and recyclables.

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Collect trash and recyclables from residential or commercial customers
• Ensure vehicle is pre/post-trip inspected daily
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and route supervisors
• Follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations
• Perform basic truck maintenance as needed

Qualifications

• Two years previous garbage route experience
• Valid Class B CDL (minimum) – required
• Clean driving record – required
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and dependability
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
