Garbage Truck Driver

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused drivers to join our waste management team. This position is responsible for the collection and transportation of residential and/or commercial waste and recycling materials. We are hiring both CDL Class A drivers and qualified non-CDL drivers with a valid DOT medical card.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently along designated routes
• Collect and transport waste and recycling in a timely manner
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate route logs and required documentation
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately

Qualifications:

• CDL Class A license OR valid driver’s license with DOT medical certification (for non-CDL roles)
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads (50+ lbs)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
• Previous waste management or commercial driving experience preferred (but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
