Garbage Truck Driver

KG Get It Done Dumpster Rental & Junk Removal is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Dump Truck / Roll-Off Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks and roll-off trucks to deliver dumpsters, transport debris, remove junk, demolition, and haul materials to disposal sites, customer locations, and job sites.

This position plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly while providing excellent customer service to residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other company vehicles for dumpster deliveries, pickups, and junk removal services
• Transport construction debris, household junk, yard waste, furniture, appliances, and other materials to designated disposal or recycling facilities
• Deliver and place dumpsters at customer locations while ensuring property is protected
• Pick up full dumpsters and transport waste safely and efficiently
• Load and unload junk or debris when assisting with cleanouts and removal jobs
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tires, brakes, fluids, lights, and safety equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and disposal receipts
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely service appointments
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers regarding deliveries and job updates
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and local traffic laws
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles and equipment
• Assist with general labor duties when needed on junk removal projects

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license preferred (or ability to legally operate required company vehicles)
• Valid DOT Card or willing to retrieve one within 45 days of employment
• Clean driving record
• Experience operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, trailers, or similar heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to safely load, transport, and unload heavy materials
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and route navigation
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor when required (ability to lift 50lbs regularly)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Experience in junk removal, waste management, construction, or hauling is a plus
• Shows up on time and ready to work
• Dresses appropriately for the job
• Reliable and personable
