Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of waste collection trucks such as rear loader, Hook Lift and small type dump trucks to pick up and transport waste materials.
• Load and unload waste containers with precision using manual or mechanical methods, ensuring secure and efficient handling.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to verify safety equipment functionality and vehicle condition.
• Drive confidently through designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to waste containers or roll-off bins using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily routes, loads, and disposal activities for reporting purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any operational issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating heavy-duty trucks, Accident and violation free for 3 years.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to rear loader, Hook Lift and small type dump trucks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Prior experience in delivery or waste collection driving is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of load & unload procedures for different types of containers and vehicles.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
