Garcia Street Club Preschool Seeking Part-Time Aftercare Teachers

Job Summary
Join our vibrant Historical Preschool as a Part-Time Aftercare Teacher, where you will play a crucial role in nurturing and guiding young minds and hearts. In this dynamic position, you’ll provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children in the afternoons, between the hours of 3:30 and 5:30. as you make art, implement creative activities, play with children, and foster social skills among toddlers and preschoolers. What you’ll do

• Supervise children and help maintain their physical and psychological safety.
• Actively engage with children in both free play and structured activities.
• Develop and implement engaging aftercare activities that promote learning and creativity.
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social interaction and emotional development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while ensuring safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child’s unique needs.

Basic qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in early childhood education or preschool experience
