Garden Center Associate / Cashier

What You'll Do:

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, handle cash transactions, and process payments securely
• Assist with stocking , organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive displays to promote sales and seasonal offerings
• Water, maintain, and merchandise plants
• Keep the garden center clean, organized, and welcoming

What We're Looking For:

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Interest in gardening or horticulture (experience a plus!)
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work outdoors in varied weather

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially within garden centers or hardware stores
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Pay: $16.94 - $18.00 per hour
