Garden Center & Landscaping Operations Team Members

Beck’s Home & Garden is a growing garden center and landscaping operation seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team across multiple departments.

We are looking for team members with experience or interest in retail, plant care, landscaping, operations, equipment operation, leadership, inventory management, and administrative support. As a growing business, we value individuals who are proactive, reliable, team-oriented, and willing to help where needed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, fast-paced environments, teamwork, customer interaction, and creating beautiful spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and general customer service
• Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the garden center and retail areas
• Water, organize, and maintain plants according to lighting and watering needs
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, pricing, and product movement
• Load and unload plants, pottery, soil, rock, and landscape materials
• Operate machinery and equipment safely when applicable
• Support merchandising, displays, and seasonal setup projects
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
• Utilize POS systems, tablets, and basic computer systems
• Work collaboratively with team members across departments
• Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in garden centers, landscaping, retail, operations, or outdoor work preferred
• Plant knowledge or willingness to learn plant identification and care
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, or basic office software
• Equipment or machinery operation experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials when needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in physically active environments
• Reliable transportation preferred

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
