Gardener

We are hiring a Gardener to work at two of our properties in Concord, CA. Under the supervision of the Property Manager, the Gardener is responsible for thefor maintaining the overall appearance, health, and curb appeal of landscaped areas throughout the apartment community.

Perform typical Gardener duties such as, but not limited to:

• Maintain landscaped areas including lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and common areas
• Perform pruning, trimming, planting, fertilizing, and seasonal landscaping tasks
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, identify leaks or malfunctions, and report needed repairs
• Manage soil and plant health, including pest and disease identification and treatment
• Remove weeds, debris, trash, and fallen branches to maintain clean outdoor spaces
• Ensure walkways, entrances, and common areas are safe and free from landscaping hazards
• Proactively identify landscaping issues and recommend improvements
• Assist with seasonal plantings and landscape enhancements
• Maintain landscaping tools and equipment in safe working condition

Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior landscaping or gardening experience preferred
• Knowledge of plant care, pruning techniques, irrigation systems, and basic pest management
• Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving
• Commitment to maintaining high curb appeal standards

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4PM (Saturday and Sunday off)
