Fine Gardener / Landscape Crew Member – Join Wild Natives

Location: San Francisco and Peninsula (Woodside, Atherton, Hillsborough)
Schedule: Full-time, ~30 hours/week (typically Monday–Friday)
Pay: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience

We are a female-led company with over 20 years of experience caring for high-end residential landscapes across the Bay Area. Our work is detail-oriented, ecological, and grounded in long-term thinking. We don’t rush gardens—we build and maintain them with care.

We’re growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us—someone who already has a professional foundation in gardening and is ready to deepen their skills in a thoughtful, high-standard environment.

What You’ll Do

• General garden maintenance: weeding, pruning, planting, and watering
• Assist with plant care and seasonal garden work
• Support soil health through composting and mulching
• Use landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Help maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Work as part of a small, consistent crew across multiple properties

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of professional gardening or landscaping experience preferred (home gardening alone is not sufficient)
• Basic plant knowledge and familiarity with garden care practices
• Dependable and shows up on time
• Strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a good job
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Physically capable (lifting, bending, standing throughout the day)
• Positive attitude and team-oriented
• Clear communicator

Skills That Are a Plus

• Knowledge of California native plants
• Pruning experience and attention to detail
• Irrigation knowledge
• Driver’s license
