Responsibilities

• Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation to promote healthy growth.
• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, aerating, fertilizing, and applying weed control measures.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes with precision and safety.
• Utilize power tools including trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, and hedge cutters to complete landscape projects efficiently.
• Implement irrigation systems maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal water distribution.
• Assist with greenhouse operations by planting seedlings, managing plant health, and monitoring environmental conditions.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities like installing new features or restoring existing gardens to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Follow safety protocols at all times while handling equipment and chemicals related to horticulture and lawn care.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and landscape design.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate respectfully and sincerely with clients.
• Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Growing experience in greenhouse management or plant propagation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control.
• Familiarity with farming or agriculture practices that support sustainable landscaping solutions.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks.
• Skilled in using power tools for trimming, edging, and other landscape maintenance activities.
