Gardener / Handyperson

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Gardener / Handyperson to help maintain our property.

Responsibilities

• Perform gardening duties including planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, watering, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth of plants and flowers.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
• Use power tools safely for tasks like trimming hedges, cutting branches, or installing landscape features.
• Conduct landscape maintenance including soil preparation, planting beds, installing mulch or gravel pathways, and maintaining outdoor structures.
• Small tasks around the house (hanging pictures, carrying boxes, fixing minor things)
• Experience
• Prior experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, soil management, and pest control.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in outdoor environments.
• Growing experience in cultivating a variety of plants or crops is a plus.
• Strong understanding of landscaping techniques.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Claverack, NY 12513 (Preferred)
