Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading, annuals installation, mowing, trimming, and planting to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes with precision and safety
• Use power tools like lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Conduct landscape assessments to identify areas needing attention and implement appropriate horticultural solutions
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor operations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
• Load/unload trucks/trailers.
• Perform landscape maintenance: hardscape repair, edge maintenance, lighting repair.
• Move and install soil, mulch, and plants for landscaping.
• Spray/dust for insect/weed control.
• Conduct daily equipment/vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Assist foreman with construction, shop/yard maintenance, and vehicle/equipment upkeep.
• Comply with all company policies, regulations, and local health/safety laws.
• Communicate politely with customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in landscape/fine gardening.
• Must have valid driver's license and DOT health card.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Capable of safely operating required equipment/tools and working near heavy machinery.
• Willingness to learn garden maintenance techniques.
• Effective communication: follow verbal instructions, read signs/labels, complete simple reports, update foreman.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Physically able to walk, stand, crouch for long periods, and perform strenuous tasks.
• Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs. throughout a shift. Excellent stamina and dexterity required.
• Work outdoors in various conditions (heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, cold).
• Must have a flexible schedule for overtime, weekend, or out-of-town work.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
