Gardening and General Maintenance Caretaker Couple for Work in Exchange

COUPLE for a WORK in EXCHANGE for a fully furnished 1B/1.5 B, gated, private residence in Sonoma CO.

Overview:
We are seeking a COUPLE to help as General Maintenance workers. Private, fully furnished 1B/1.5 B residence, and partial utilities paid, offered in exchange for your time and skills. Paid hours over the exchange time requirement. Must like working together and also able to complete tasks on own. The ideal candidates=TWO=will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance tasks, including hardscape and landscape maintenance, to ensure our facilities and grounds are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as with others to complete larger projects.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and landscape upkeep.
• Execute hardscape projects such as building pathways, patios, and retaining walls.
• Operate various tools and equipment for maintenance tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Assist in covering plants not in greenhouse protection during winter months to maintain healthy growth.
• Replace tired soil with new, build, and install irrigation in new areas or existing garden beds and landscaping features as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with others working on larger projects or repairs.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies required for maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance or related fields is preferred.
• Strong with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, irrigation, and garden care.
• Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing/weeding, etc. for periods of time as needed.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to various job sites.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
