Garden/Landscape Apprentice

Thursdays and Fridays (8hrs each day) Open to applicants only available for Thursdays

Marble Botanics is an eco-friendly garden/landscape company with a focus on horticulture, project landscaping, organic gardening, and garden management. We are in search of a hard-working part time employee who can work both on project installations on Fridays and on our garden maintenance routes under the direct mentorship of a more experienced gardener on Thursdays.

You must be able to perform necessary tasks efficiently and safely with a focus on quality, local ecology and positive consideration for our clients needs.

Physical strength, fortitude and stamina is a must.

If you aren't actively caring for plants (houseplants count) or trying to grow plants at home, please don't apply.

Work in the fresh air creating and maintaining beautiful gardens with good pay!

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

-Learning the art and trade of gardening, horticulture, and ecology

-Planting

-Composting

-Mulching

-Digging, trenching, and grading

-Watering

-Pruning

-Weeding

-Stone masonry

-Hardscaping

-Communicating with clients and managers

Requirements:

-Ability to lift 80lbs

-Ability to push heavy wheel barrows up hills

-Reliable transportation to and from work

-Efficiency focus

-Ability to learn new processes

-Positive mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
