We are a small family run business looking to expand our workforce and welcome a new member to the team,

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas engineering, with the ability to work effectively in various environments. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that all gas installations, maintenance, and repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential properties.
• Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnose faults in gas systems and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their gas systems.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to gas engineering tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble and disassemble equipment as needed.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
• Experience in heavy lifting as required for transporting equipment or materials on-site.
• Ability to weld when necessary for specific installations or repairs.
• Commercial driving experience is advantageous for transporting tools and equipment between job sites.
• Previous experience in plumbing or carpentry is beneficial but not essential.
