Gas Measurement Service Business Driver

We are looking for a Gas Measurement Service Business Driver to join the Sales Office in Endress+Hauser (Egypt). Our office is in Cairo and plays an important role for assigned markets in Africa.

Which task will you perform?

  • Drive the growth of service business for EHS gas measurement systems in Egypt and assigned African markets.
  • Act as commercial contact for customers and build strong customer relationships within Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Plants, Cement, and other Industrial sectors.
  • Enable and support GM (Gas Measurement) Service Sales by identifying and converting service opportunities such as maintenance contracts, calibration, spare parts, renewals, upgrades, modernization, and digital services.
  • Lead efforts to grow service revenues and profitability, maintaining a robust regional business plan aligned with local and global management strategies.
  • Support the implementation of the business plan “from strategy to action,” ensuring achievement of service revenue and profitability KPIs.
  • Lead the conversion of one-off service engagements into long-term contract business, including the renewal and expansion of key GM service contracts (Maritime/shore).
  • Support account planning for service with dedicated accounts and collaborate with sales teams to manage and monitor service pipelines using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Promote premium service offerings and support pricing strategies to maximize value.
  • Internally promote service business, creating awareness of its importance for sale
  • Analyze competitor and partner landscapes, developing proposals for business extension through ASPs and acquisitions.
  • Lead acquisition for major opportunities with global/key accounts and support cross-entity cooperation in service acquisition projects.
  • Manage and coordinate service activities with service providers, distributors, and third-party contractors.

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics) or a relevant technical field
  • 3–7 years of experience in relevant fields such as service sales, gas analyzers or industrial instrumentation/automation service business
  • Experience in managing service providers and third parties is a strong plus.
  • Strong leadership personality with the ability to lead without direct authority, drive business development, and foster a customer-oriented, outside-in mindset.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and lifecycle understanding, with experience in opportunity and pipeline management.
  • Proactive, growth-oriented, and skilled in effective communication and teamwork across cultures and functions.
  • Fluency in English required, French is an advantage for African markets
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with knowledge of consultative sales approaches.
  • Competent in Microsoft 365 applications and use of CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus).
