Self-Employed Gas Safe Engineer / Plumber — West London (Local Jobs Only)

Warmello is a Gas Safe and MCS-accredited heating and plumbing company based in West London. We're growing our network of trusted self-employed engineers to cover overflow and pre-booked work across our local patch. All jobs are within West London — no driving the M25, no Essex runs, no Croydon at 4pm.

This is subcontract work, not PAYE. Please read carefully before applying.

The work

• 1–3 jobs per day, pre-booked and pre-priced
• All within W3, W4, W6, W10, W11, W12, W14, NW10, SW6
• Mix of boiler services, repairs, breakdowns, CP12s, power flushes
• General plumbing — leaks, radiators, valves, taps, cylinders
• Cooker/hob installs
• Some multi-tasking expected (gas + plumbing in the same visit is common)
• Larger installs available if you want them

How it works

• You receive job details the day before with address, time, scope, and price
• Turn up, do the job, mark it complete in our system
• We handle all customer contact, scheduling, quoting, and invoicing
• Paid weekly by BACS — no chasing, no late payments
• You focus on the work, nothing else

What we need from you

• Gas Safe registered (current card, CCN1, CENWAT minimum — we'll check)
• 5+ years real domestic experience
• Strong in both gas and plumbing — not just one or the other
• Friendly, professional manner with customers
• Own van, tools, and full kit
• Own public liability insurance (£2m minimum)
• Self-employed with your own UTR
• Based in or near West London (no point if you're driving in from Essex)

Starting rate: £150–170 per day

This is a starting rate. Engineers who deliver consistent quality, communicate well, and represent Warmello professionally move up — both in rate and in being offered the bigger, better-paid installs.

• You don't have your own van and kit
• You're not based in or covering West London
• You have a history of no-shows or poor communication
