Lothian Gas Ltd, based in Loanhead in Edinburgh, pride ourselves to be a specialist gas installation, servicing and repair company. Established in 1997 Lothian Gas Ltd, has grown by providing excellent advice, service and value over the last 25 years. We employ Professional Service Engineers, Central Heating Installers as well as our own Administration staff.

We are Gas Safe Registered (Our Gas Safe Number is 127164), for installations, servicing and repairs to both gas and electric wet heating systems throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians. We provide services to private homeowners, landlords and have several repairs and maintenance contracts for social housing landlords.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Gas Engineer, covering Edinburgh, Lothians and Fife.

The main responsibilities of the job are:

· Planned Maintenance Visits (Annual Gas Servicing) including some Commercial Boilers

· Responsive Repairs / Break downs (Fault finding and repairs on gas boilers and central heating systems, including some Commercial)

· Standby / On-call rota

· Assisting when required with installations and boiler changes.

· Keeping paperwork up to date and compliant with GDPR guidelines.

· Identifying and ordering material

· Communicating with Lothian Gas Staff, customers, suppliers and various housing associations / landlords.

You must have at least 2 Year of experience in fault finding and be confident carrying out repairs on a wide range of domestic gas boilers.

You must also have current gas ACS qualifications

CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, with at least 24 months validation.

· Competitive starting salary circa of £30,000. Which is reviewed yearly.

Experience & Requirements:

· Gas ACS qualifications – with at least 24 months validation. (Please state in your covering letter the months left)

· Full Clean Driving Licence

· Gas servicing and repairs: At least 2 year

· Knowledge and certification if any in: Air-source, F-Gas, LPG and Unvented Hot Water / Water Bylaws would be advantageous.
