Gas Service Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gas Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in propane gas technical services and a passion for problem-solving. As a Gas Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining indoor & outdoor home heating equipment . Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

• Perform maintenance and repairs on various residential indoor & outdoor heating equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot common issues.
• Conduct annual inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions to homeowners.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with homeowners regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Work with the installation team as needed.
• Willingness to work an on-call weekend and after-hours rotation.
• Safely operate company vehicles.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Gas Service Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
• Technical certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
