Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel purchases and any other needs.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed properly.
• Monitor fuel levels and assist in refueling as necessary.
• Provide information about products and services offered at the station.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
• Assist in supervising station operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Promote additional sales such as snacks, beverages, or car care products to enhance customer experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is advantageous for managing transactions effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base.
• Strong phone etiquette is essential for communicating with customers and vendors when necessary.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
