Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions, assisting with product demos, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience at our station. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive sales and foster customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
• Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with clear communication skills
• Perform cashier duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate sales records
• Assist customers with product demos, upselling items such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively
• Ensure the gas pumps are functioning properly and assist customers with fueling needs
• Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store or convenience store settings
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Ability to supervise or assist in supervising other team members when needed
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or merchandise
