Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service during evening and overnight hours
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process sales, refunds, and product demos efficiently
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including stocking shelves and merchandising products
• Upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or convenience products to enhance customer experience
• Conduct product demos when applicable to promote new or featured items
• Enforce phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and participating in regular stock checks
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times and maintain a secure environment for staff and customers

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering experience or familiarity with POS systems is preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base
• Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team coordination
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
• Experience working in retail sales or grocery stores is beneficial but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks such as stocking, and work flexible evening or overnight shifts
