Outpatient Gastroenterologist

Bayview Physicians Group is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team in Suffolk, Virginia.

This is an outpatient only position located within a well-equipped medical center that features:

• On-site Endoscopy Suite
• Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Advanced Imaging Services

You will provide comprehensive digestive health care in a collaborative environment, supported by advanced technology, strong clinical resources, and a dedicated care team.

Responsibilities:

• Split time between office and Ambulatory Surgery Center (Endoscopy Suite)
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBD, IBS, live disease, colorectal condition, and more
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including:
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy
  • Polypectomy
  • Biopsy
• Interpret results of endoscopic, laboratory, and imaging studies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with GI and live conditions
• APP supervision

• Provide services in Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach
