Board Certification Eligible - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Handle 10-20 patient encounters per shift in a busy gastroenterology department
• Must have active Arizona license, DEA, and clear record
• Perform upper GI endoscopy procedures including biopsies, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, and injection of varices
• Conduct PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
• Experience with ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), both diagnostic and therapeutic preferred
• Perform small bowel biopsies as required
• Conduct lower GI endoscopy procedures including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Perform colonoscopies with biopsies and polyp excisions
• Experience with insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube preferred
• Must maintain ACLS and BLS certifications
• Rapid credentialing available with next day processing
• Comfortable lodging available at Candlewood Suites
• Tucson Airport is the nearest airport to the facility

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
