Job Title: Locum to Perm - Physician - Gastroenterology

Join our dedicated team in beautiful Des Moines, Iowa, where MercyOne Des Moines is actively seeking an Inpatient Provider for a locum to permanent position. This facility offers hospital-based coverage, encompassing a supportive environment for both inpatient and outpatient procedures. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hospital-based coverage, performing 3-4 outpatient procedures daily.
• Conduct inpatient procedures and consultations for adult patients only.
• Participate in 24-hour call rotation from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Required to perform ERCP, with EUS being highly preferred.

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong interest in a locum to perm position.
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
• Possess an active Iowa License or IMLC.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Willingness to work in an inpatient setting.
• Proficient in ERCP; EUS experience is highly preferred.
• COVID Vaccination required.
• Maintain a clean malpractice and background history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Iowa Medical License or IMLC - REQUIRED
• ACLS certification - REQUIRED
