Gastroenterology Physician

Position Details

• Setting: Outpatient endoscopy centers (Newton Southborough, Worcester, Marlborough)

• Start Date: Targeting November 1, 2025 (credentialing days)

• Duration: 1 year

• Shifts Available: Monday Friday, 8-hour day shifts

• Shift Volume: cases/day

• Shifts Per Provider: Full-time coverage preferred; open to multiple physicians to share schedule

• Call: None

• Orientation: Virtual meeting with one of the GI physicians

Practice & Facility Information

• Work Environment: Outpatient endoscopy/ASC settings (no inpatient or ER call)

• Support Staff: Full procedural support team, anesthesia coverage provided

• EMR System: UMass standard EMR (Epic, confirm at credentialing)

• Telehealth: Not applicable

• Malpractice: Covered

• Credentialing: Required at UMass Medical Center and Marlborough Hospital (to practice across affiliated centers)

Certifications Required

• MD/DO

• GI Fellowship (Board Certified)

• Active MA License (or willing to obtain)

• ACLS (standard for endoscopy)
