Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care (inpatient and outpatient), including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures—upper/lower endoscopies, colonoscopies, ERCPs (if applicable).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: radiology, pathology, surgery, oncology, nutrition, and internal medicine.
- Participate in call rotations, quality improvement initiatives, and mentorship of residents/APPs.
- Optional: engage in clinical research, community outreach, or GI‑related population health programs.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in FL.
- Fellowship training completed in accredited GI program.
- Strong procedural competency and patient-centered communication skills.
