The Role

We’re looking for a Gate Sales & Repair Technician who can install and service automatic gates, close the sale on new systems, and handle light welding repairs in the field. You’ll work on vehicle gates, courtyard gates, side gates, and RV gates across residential and commercial properties throughout the Valley. This is a dual sales-and-service role with serious earning potential for a tech who takes pride in clean work and straight talk with customers.

What You’ll Do – Service & Installation

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic gate openers on vehicle gates, courtyard gates, side gates, and RV gates
• Work primarily with LiftMaster gate operators – LA400/500 series, RS and CS operators, and related residential and commercial models
• Install and configure high-end access control systems: keypads, telephone entry, card readers, loop detectors, e-loops, photo eyes, and safety edges
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues and fix them right the first time
• Perform welding and light fabrication in the field to repair hinges, frames, posts, and hardware
• Keep a clean, professional job site and leave every customer better than you found them
• Document the work you performed, parts used, and any follow-up recommendations

What You’ll Do – Sales

• Meet with residential and commercial customers on-site to scope their needs and walk the property
• Design and quote new gate systems, automation retrofits, and access control packages
• Present proposals clearly – no pressure, no hidden fees, just honest Arizona values
• Close the sale on new gates, operator upgrades, and access control systems
• Follow up on leads and build the kind of customer relationships that drive repeat and referral business

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience installing and servicing automatic gate operators – LiftMaster LA400/500 and RS/CS operator experience strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of major gate opener brands and high-end access control systems
• Welding experience sufficient to perform field repairs on hinges, frames, and hardware
• Solid troubleshooting across low-voltage wiring, 120V/240V power, and control boards
• Sales or estimating chops – you can quote a job, answer the hard questions, and close the deal
• Professional appearance and clear communication – our customers remember the tech, not the company
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable working outside in Arizona heat, lifting heavy equipment, and safely running power tools and welding gear

• Performance-based pay with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,000 – you never go home empty-handed
• $1,000 bonus after 90 days of employment
